About AAGW

The Apartment Association of Greater Wichita (AAGW) is a trade association representing over 26,000 rental units in central and western Kansas. We provide property owners, site staff, and supplier partners with a venue for networking and education, as well as a constructive force through which we work together for the betterment of the multi-family housing industry. We are an active member of the National Apartment Association (NAA), the only national organization solely representing the apartment industry.

Our History

The Kansas Apartment Association was formed in 1984, as an affiliate of the National Apartment Association, by a group of apartment professionals who wanted to increase their visibility and professionalism as a group.  The organization was renamed  the Apartment Association of Greater Wichita in 1996.  In 2024, we celebrated our 40th Anniversary with our membership stronger than ever and we look forward to our continued growth and serving our industry.

Our Staff

Marcia Loy, Association Executive

Marcia Loy started with the AAGW in February of 2026. Marcia is no stranger to our association, having worked for our friends at Furniture Options for over 18 years. As a former supplier partner she understands fully the value our association brings to our members and community. Marcia is the mom to a beautiful daughter named Katrina.
